What are the steps involved in the ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment program?

The ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment program uses the following four steps:
Exfoliation: This is defined as the active removal of dead skin flakes that form daily on the skin surface. It is an essential part of cleansing the facial skin.
Cleansing: The ECHO 2 PLUS skin cleanser is applied using sterile techniques so as not to irritate the newly exposed skin cells. The active portion of this cleanser helps to control the amount of harmful bacteria on the skin surface.
Hydration: Hydration functions to supply moisture and nourishment to the skin. The ECHO 2 PLUS process of "osmotic hydration" is the only one of its kind to use specially formulated enzymes and mineral solutions to help draw moisture and nutrients from beneath the skin surface, as well as from the air, thus providing skin cells with more nourishment than ever before.
Oxygenation: This portion of the treatment is uniquely and exclusively part of ECHO 2 PLUS. Pure oxygen, in conjunction with vitamins and minerals, are used to nourish and revitalize the skin cells. The oxygen adheres to the collagen and elastin molecules, thereby increasing the strength of the collagen and elastin fibers. The result is an increase in the suppleness and elasticity of the skin.

How often should I have an ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment?

Can I wear make-up after my ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment?

After your ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment, it is best to refrain from applying make-up for up to 45 minutes. This will allow ample time for completing the hydration of your skin as well as provide adequate time for the initial effects of the oxygen to take place on the cells of the skin.

Can I use the ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment program if I smoke?

Yes. The ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment program can be used on individuals who smoke with the same frequency as individuals who do not smoke. However, it is recommended that smokers refrain from smoking for 45 minutes after the treatment. It should be noted that the results of the treatment may be slightly less for smokers due to the decrease in the molecular binding capacity of the oxygen molecule in the presence of carbon monoxide.

Can I go out in the sun after having an ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment?

Yes. Immediate sun exposure is permitted as many of the vitamins used throughout the treatment process serve to protect the skin. However, we do encourage limited to preferably no sun exposure. The sun is a major contributor to the destruction and aging of the skin.

What kind of effects will I notice after my ECHO 2 PLUS skin treatment?

You will notice a "tight" sensation of your facial skin after the first initial treatment, though it will look and feel moist to the touch.
